Good morning. 

Last week while on patrol in the area, local NPT officer discovered an ongoing small fire with in the park.

Witnesses approached a officers and reported that 3 youths was connected to setting the fire deliberately in the local area.

Lighting fires in a public places is extremely dangerous and can quickly spread, putting lives, homes, wildlife, and emergency responders at serious risk. What may seem like a prank can lead to significant damage, injury, or criminal consequences. 

This is being investigated and enquiries are ongoing. We ask parents and guardians to speak with young people about the dangers and legal implications of this type of behaviour.
